Bulb ReplacementEXTERIOR LIGHTSHeadlightsYour car is equipped with twin headlights. The inboardheadlight bulbs (those nearest the centre of the car) can bereached from inside the engine compartment, however, theoutboard headlight (and sidelight) bulbs can only be reachedvia an access panel set into the front of the wheel arch liners.Inboard headlights (main beam)Care point: During use, headlightbulbs may shatter if the glass hasbeen scratched, or contaminatedwith oil or perspiration. DO NOTtouch the glass. If handled, cleanwith methylated spirits and aclean cloth.Replacement bulb: H1 55 watt.21H2739431. Remove the rubber cover from the rear of the headlight.2. Unhook the wire securing clip (see small inset inillustration) and pivot it away from the rear of the bulb.3. Detach the electrical connector from the rear of the bulb.4. Remove the bulb.Replacement of the bulb is a reversal of the above process.180
