From inside the car, pull the bonnet release handle.2. Lift the bonnet safety catch lever and raise the bonnet.Closing the bonnetLower the bonnet. When the bonnet is approximately 6inches (150 mm) from its closed position, push down evenlyusing the palms of both hands on the leading edge of thebonnet on either side of the radiator grill.After closing the bonnet, check that the lock is fully engagedby attempting to lift the front edge of the bonnet. This shouldbe free from all movement.139
