MaintenanceOWNER MAINTENANCEIn addition to the routine services and inspections referred topreviously, a number of simple checks must be carried outmore frequently. You can carry out these checks yourself andadvice is given on the pages that follow.Daily checks• Operation of lights, horn, direction indicators, wipers,washers and warning lights.• Operation of seat belts and brakes.• Look for fluid deposits underneath the car that mightindicate a leak.Weekly checks• <strong>Eng</strong>ine oil level.• Coolant level.• Brake fluid level.• Power steering fluid level.• Screen washer fluid level.• Tyre pressures and condition.• Operate air conditioning (if fitted).3Care point: The engine oil levelshould be checked morefrequently if the car is driven forprolonged periods at highspeeds.Care point: Any significant orsudden drop in fluid levels, oruneven tyre wear, should bereported to a dealer withoutdelay.SPECIAL OPERATING CONDITIONSIf your car is frequently used in dusty conditions, or operatedin extreme climates where sub-zero or very high ambienttemperatures are normal, more frequent attention may needto be paid to servicing requirements.
