Fuel SystemFUEL CUT-OFF SWITCH2ALWAYS check for fuelleaks before resetting thefuel cut-off switch.H2682The fuel cut-off switch is a safety device which, in the eventof a collision or sudden impact, automatically cuts off the fuelsupply to the engine.When the switch operates, the interior lights illuminate untilthe system is reset by pressing the rubber top of the cut-offswitch (arrowed in illustration). In addition, the hazardwarning lights flash until switched off.The fuel cut-off switch is located behind the glovebox andcan be reached from underneath by removing the fourcross-head screws securing the access cover.
