As the head of theGNCC, Irakli Chikovani earned an additional 241,200.88 GEL in2010 ($147,318) 109 , which is not bad for a government position.In comparison, President Mikheil Saakashvili’s 2010 salary wasGEL 56,640, according to his income declaration. 110Until the end of 2010, two media houses dominated theGeorgian television market: Touch Media and Media House.These served as the intermediaries between advertising agencies(and media planners) and media outlets.
