Dette gjorde at bandet spilte support forAETERNUS samt å opptre på Hole In The Sky-festivalen i 2001. Etter en dødperiode pånoen år viste SULPHUR igjen tegn til liv i 2005. Denne gang med en ny og forbedret line-up,og demo nummer to Outburst of Desecration så dagens ”lys”. Dette gjorde at bandet signerteen platekontrakt med Osmose Productions. Debutalbumet mottok gode anmeldelser og bandetspilte nye konserter, heriblant Hole In The Sky-festivalen i 2005. SULPHUR anno 2009 erspenstigere og mer karismatisk enn noensinne. Det er ingen grenser for hvilke musikalskelandskap bandet vil utforske, noe som har resultert i et infernalsk avantgardeekstremmetal-album. Thurston Moore (Cold Mailman), om å danse til ”the Oslo beat” (Nomber 5s), eller ombare å aldri ville forlate byen (My Little Pony).Sju av bandene fra fjorårets plate deltar i år også, og alle har tatt betydelig skritt bådekunstnerisk og karrieremessig. Hiawata! har blant annet hatt en stor hit med sitt bidrag ”ValleyBoys”, mens både The Little Hands of Asphalt og My Little Pony har gitt ut kritikerrostedebutalbum, og spilt på flere av Norges største festivaler. Sistnevnte har også gjort suksessi blant annet Spania og Tyskland mens Yoyoyo Acapulco har lagt Frankrike for sine føtter.I tillegg kommer både Monzano og Cold Mailman med sine andrealbum i løpet av våren.Nye navn har også kommet til, som ZOOM-vinnerne Norma Sass, kritikeryndlingene Childrenand Corpse Playing in the Street og kjempetalentene Therese Aune og Einar Stray. I tillegghar noen hittil helt ubeskrevne blad fått plass på samlingen: Go Fandango!, Seppuku ZephyrDance, Like Spinning, Casa Murilo og Firetop Mountain.Det som under utgivelsen av ”Oslo!” for halvannet år siden var en tendens har nå utvikletseg til et levedyktig pop-miljø med ikke bare en overflod av band og artister, men også enskog av labler, blogger, fanziner og så videre.
