Alternative 2 Modified is an optimization of Alternative 2 by shifting of the two hard points acrossthe south channel on the char, while the guide bund at the main bridge is unchanged from Alternative2 (Figure 6-5). The hard points need to be connected to the approach road along the south bank bycross dams in order to prevent flow passing behind the structures.
