Function Key Assignment ProgrammingFunction keys may be relocated, inactivated or changed with this program. For example, you maywish to place functions, such as PREVIOUS BALANCE and SERVICE, which are not placed onthe default keyboard. Or perhaps, you may wish to remove a function, such as CANCEL, forsecurity reasons.Please note the following limitations:If you assign a duplicate of a function code, the duplicate will function exactly as theoriginal - you will not get separate totals and counters on reports for the duplicated key.You can reassign keys only in locations that are programmable. See "Keyboard" onpage 20, where the key locations that may be programmed are identified.To Assign a Function Key to a Location:1. Turn the control lock to the S position.2. Enter 20, press the SBTL key.2 0 SBTL3. Refer to "Function Key Codes" on page 92 to find the code for the key you wish toassign.
