92CHAPTER 3Operating System UpdatesAs with yum install , you can replace with just the name, nameand version, name and architecture, or name, version, and architecture combination.Examples include the following:yum update example-2.3.4-1yum update example-2.3.4-1.i686TIPIf the yum update command is executed without specifying a package, all softwareupdates for all installed packages are downloaded and installed.If you prefer a graphical application, select System Tools, Software Updater from theApplications menu on the top panel of the desktop.
