Coffs Harbour is a major regional city on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales,about midway between Sydney and Brisbane.With a population of 74,000, the city encompasses a total area of 1,174 squarekilometres of land stretching from Red Rock south to Bundagen andwest past Brooklana and Lowanna.The traditional home of the Gumbaynggirr people, Coffs Harbour wasopened up by European settlers in the second half of the nineteenthcentury.
