SOCIAL IMPACTVisionFund Cambodia has continuedto work with strategic partnersand other like-minded institutionsto develop, modify and offer a widerrange of social loan productsto leverage our strengths andefforts to improve the well-being ofchildren by tackling poverty as awhole.We’ve launched social programs and varioussocial initiatives aimed at maximizing benefitsand impact for clients, their children andcommunities. Each year, we organize the bestclient selection program, child scholarshipprogram, best student award program, luckydraw program, and other charity events.We also provide employment opportunities forlocal community members, employ staff withphysical disabilities, deliver financial education,health education, and link clients with NGOpartners to receive other necessary nonfinancialservices such as food and water, health,education, HIV/AIDS, peace, and justice.Our persistent efforts continue to reach outto the most vulnerable people, such as thoseaffected with HIV/AIDS and Orphan andVulnerable Children (OVC) , disabled people,widowed women, child labourer families andother disadvantaged groups.32 VISIONFUND CAMBODIA ANNUAL REPORT 2012
