Perspectives on Nature”: An Initiative for Nature, Knowledge and Culture in Context at Museum für Naturkunde Research Interests Natural history museums are hybrid organisations that mediate science and society. In the 21st century, this mediation will only be accomplished if the Museum für Naturkunde is developed as a forum for both the natural sciences and the humanities and arts. PAN is a new initiative launched by the Museum to establish this interdisciplinary dialogue about our collections and research. It focuses on natural history as part of our cultural heritage. My working and research interest is to open up new ways of interpreting natural history, objects and collections. The aim is to help institutionalize the necessary exchange between different cultures of knowing and encourage multidisciplinary perspectives on nature. Job description<br />

Head of “PAN. Perspectives on Nature”: An Initiative for Nature, Knowledge and<br />

Culture in Context at <strong>Museum</strong> <strong>für</strong> <strong>Naturkunde</strong><br />

Research Interests<br />

Natural history museums are hybrid organisations that mediate science and society. In<br />
