Ribbons for first through sixth place will be awarded at the Division Championship Meets.Medals for first through sixth will be awarded at the SSSL Championship meet. Team trophieswill be awarded for the first through sixth places in the SSSL Championship meet. The SSSLtreasurer will see that the ribbons, medals <strong>and</strong> trophies are ready for presentation at theChampionship meets. Team trophies are given to the Northern <strong>and</strong> Southern Division teamchampions.K. Two clubs can co-operate to host a championship meet. One club can furnish the pool <strong>and</strong> theother can operate the meet.L. Electronic timing will be used at the division championship meets, providing both pools canaccommodate touch pads, <strong>and</strong> at the SSSL All City Championship meet.M. When electronic timing is in use at championship meets <strong>and</strong> there is a system failure, h<strong>and</strong>-heldwatches will be used following dual meet guidelines. No place judges will be used.N. If time is not registered upon touching the end of the pool, go to backup h<strong>and</strong>-held timers (threeper lane). The order of official time determination is as follows: 1. Electronic timing; 2. Backupbutton for electronic timing; 3. H<strong>and</strong>-held stop watches.O. All shallow end starts shall start in the water.P. Changes requested after the publication of psych sheets to a Championship meet will beproposed at the coaches meeting <strong>and</strong> passed with a majority vote. (New for 2013)V. Divisional “B” Championship MeetsA. Anyone who qualifies in an individual event according to the SSSL team st<strong>and</strong>ards shall not beeligible to swim in the “B” championships with one exception. If an individual makes a qualifyingtime in one individual event, he can swim in the “B” championship meet if: He gives up his rightto swim in the SSSL preliminaries <strong>and</strong> he cannot swim in that event in the “B” championshipmeet that he made the qualifying time in.B. An individual who swims on a relay that makes a SSSL qualifying time, but does not make oneindividually, may swim in the “B” championship meet.C. There will be no relays in the “B” championship meets.D. No score will be kept at the “B” championship meet.E. Places in each individual event will be determined by times only.F. Ribbons provided by the league will be awarded for heat winners, first through sixth place ineach event, <strong>and</strong> participants.
