Yuanwuqu area <strong>parking</strong> analysisThe Yuanwuqu area faces high <strong>parking</strong> demandon streets and illegal <strong>parking</strong> on streets, sidewalksand setbacks is frequent. The table below showsfor each section the <strong>parking</strong> demand, existing<strong>parking</strong> balance (i.e. shortage or vacancy of <strong>parking</strong>spaces), the proposed on-street <strong>parking</strong> supply(as described on the next page) and the <strong>parking</strong>balance in the proposed on-street <strong>parking</strong> system.Some streets will have a shortage of <strong>parking</strong>spaces, where others will have vacancy. The sumis a vacancy of 11 <strong>parking</strong> spaces during the peakdemand time. No additional off-street <strong>parking</strong>facilities are required. Public access to these otheroff-street <strong>parking</strong> garages, with <strong>parking</strong> sharing,is essential.
