XXXIII - MILITARY SERVICE OF ARTISTIf ARTIST is called to report to Military active Service or reserves, ARTIST may cancelhis/her contract by giving MANAGEMENT as much notice as the circumstances will permit, andMANAGEMENT agrees to pay ARTIST’s transportation to the place <strong>of</strong> origination <strong>of</strong> thecompany, or <strong>of</strong> the city where ARTIST was engaged, if it is other than the city <strong>of</strong> origination,and ARTIST shall not be obligated for the payment <strong>of</strong> the fare <strong>of</strong> his/her successor.ARTICLE XXXIV - PROMOTIONAL RECORDINGA. No recording <strong>of</strong> any kind (audio and/or visual) shall be made <strong>of</strong> ARTISTS inrehearsal or performance without forty-eight (48) hours specific prior written notification toARTISTS and AGMA except in the case <strong>of</strong> a promotional opportunity which could not havebeen reasonably anticipated in which case notice shall be given as soon as possible. By signingthe Standard ARTIST’s <strong>Contract</strong> form, ARTIST shall have given consent to recording activityset forth in this Article.B. AGMA does not authorize and ARTISTS do not consent to any recording activityother than that set forth in this Article. However, for recording activity which does not fallwithin the provisions <strong>of</strong> this Article, MANAGEMENT may request approval from AGMA, andAGMA will consider such request in a timely fashion. AGMA and MANAGEMENT agree thatany approved requests nonetheless will require ARTIST’s consent.C. MANAGEMENT may produce, without additional compensation to ARTISTS,one (1) live or one (1) tape delayed local radio broadcast <strong>of</strong> each production, provided that noone else involved in the performance receives additional compensation.D. 1. MANAGEMENT may cause or allow to be recorded (audio and/or visual)excerpts <strong>of</strong> up to thirty (30) minutes <strong>of</strong> any performance or rehearsal <strong>of</strong> a production or concert,<strong>of</strong> which three (3) minutes or less may be aired or allowed to be aired by MANAGEMENT withno additional compensation to ARTISTS, for the sole purpose <strong>of</strong> promoting the activities <strong>of</strong>MANAGEMENT provided that no one else involved in the performance or rehearsal receivesadditional compensation.2. MANAGEMENT may create a documentary or educational film, video, orradio program for broadcast on the local television or radio which may utilize up to thirty (30)minutes <strong>of</strong> any performance or rehearsal material, with no additional compensation to ARTISTS,provided that no one else involved in the performance or rehearsal receives additionalcompensation. For a non-local release or broadcast <strong>of</strong> such documentary which airs more thanthree (3) minutes <strong>of</strong> a rehearsal or performance, MANAGEMENT shall negotiate compensationwith AGMA.45COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTJuly 1, <strong>2010</strong> through June 30, <strong>2013</strong>
