WASHINGTON NATIONAL OPERA TAX SHELTERED RETIREMENT PLANCHORISTERS and CORP DANCERS shall be permitted to participate in WashingtonNational Opera's Tax Sheltered Retirement Plan, once established.ARTICLE XXXI - CLEANLINESS AND FURNISHING OF COSTUMES AND WIGS –ALL ARTISTSA. MANAGEMENT agrees to supply each ARTIST with all costumes, wigs, andshoes (except ordinary street shoes) and all special accessories required for his/her performances.B. Before the beginning <strong>of</strong> each production MANAGEMENT will check allcostumes and wigs to be used by ARTISTS for cleanliness and:1. Wash all linens, stockings, tights, leotards, shirts, etc. (all washable items).2. Dry-clean one complete set <strong>of</strong> each costume.3. Clean and dress all wigs prior to first use by ARTIST.C. Tights, stockings and leotards to be used in performance shall be washed prior toeach performance, unless such items have been worn by same ARTIST no more than oncebefore.D. The responsibility for the care <strong>of</strong> any costume or accessory while it is being wornby ARTIST shall be upon ARTIST, provided that the terms <strong>of</strong> this Article have been compliedwith by MANAGEMENT unless damage is caused by problems with sets, props, or otherpersonnel beyond the control <strong>of</strong> ARTIST.E. MANAGEMENT shall clean all garments worn next to the body prior to their useby ARTIST, except if such costume has been used by same ARTIST in the precedingperformance <strong>of</strong> the same opera.F. Calls for costume fittings, in or out <strong>of</strong> the theater, shall be counted as rehearsal timefor the length <strong>of</strong> the call, with a minimum <strong>of</strong> one (1) hour.ARTICLE XXXII - REHEARSAL, DRESSING ROOM AND PERFORMANCEFACILITIES AND CONDITIONS; HEALTH AND SAFETYA. All rehearsal and performance venues must meet the standards for cleanlinesscomfort and safety set forth in this ARTICLE XXXII. All safeguards must be in place at everyrehearsal and performance.42COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTJuly 1, <strong>2010</strong> through June 30, <strong>2013</strong>
