(b) Lateness to performances and Final Dress Rehearsals shall be calculatedin one-quarter (¼) hour increments, based on applicable hourly rate, and compensation adjustedaccordingly. Such lateness shall be calculated from actual call time, subject to a ten (10) minutegrace period. Instances <strong>of</strong> lateness in excess <strong>of</strong> ninety (90) minutes will be referred to AGMAMid-Atlantic area representative for agreement on compensation adjustmentN. SCHEDULES AND AUDITIONS1. MANAGEMENT shall provide AGMA with written notice <strong>of</strong> Chorus andDancer Auditions thirty (30) days prior to the commencement <strong>of</strong> auditions.2.a) Audition notices for CORPS DANCERS shall describe the dancerequirements, genre and special skills with specificity. MANAGEMENT will also specify onCORPS DANCER audition notices the number or range (i.e., “eight to ten”) <strong>of</strong> CORPSDANCERS and CORPS DANCER Covers to be hired for the production, and the type(s) <strong>of</strong>shoes needed for the audition.b) The audition notice shall include a tentative rehearsal schedule.c) MANAGEMENT will endeavor to schedule dance rehearsals not soonerthan 30 days after the conclusion <strong>of</strong> CORPS DANCER auditions.d) MANAGEMENT shall hold separate auditions for AGMA dancers prior toany auditions for dancers who are not members <strong>of</strong> AGMA, provided that these auditions may beheld on the same day.e) MANAGEMENT will provide dancers with a reasonable dressing area forall auditions and rehearsals.3. A Chorus and Dancer information sheet, developed jointly byMANAGEMENT and AGMA, shall be made available as a handout at auditions. Theinformation sheet shall contain the Group I and Group II rates and descriptions, and shall notifyauditioners that wages, terms and conditions <strong>of</strong> employment are governed by a collectivebargaining agreement between Washington National Opera and the <strong>American</strong> <strong>Guild</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Musical</strong><strong>Artists</strong>. It shall also provide the name and number <strong>of</strong> the AGMA Area Representative.4. An “audition” schedule <strong>of</strong> rehearsals for each opera, including firstmusical rehearsal, first staging rehearsal and performances shall be distributed at Chorus andDancer Auditions. At this time CHORISTER/CORPS DANCER will indicate any conflicts.5. A “contract schedule” for each opera, including tentative dates and beginningtimes, shall be distributed to each CHORISTER and CORPS DANCER along with the contract<strong>of</strong>fering them employment. This schedule will clearly state that it is a tentative schedule and issubject to change. If at this time the CHORISTER or CORPS DANCER has any conflicts other35COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTJuly 1, <strong>2010</strong> through June 30, <strong>2013</strong>
