H. DOMINGO-CAFRITZ YOUNG ARTIST COMPENSATIONAll Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program artists who perform in main stageproductions <strong>of</strong> the Washington National Opera subscription season will be issued a StandardArtist’s <strong>Contract</strong> and will receive not less than the compensation provided for ARTISTShereunder. Compensation paid hereunder to Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program artists maynot be credited against the stipend they receive as participants in the Domingo-Cafritz Young<strong>Artists</strong> Program.ARTICLE XXVII - PRINCIPAL ARTIST’S REST PERIODAll PRINCIPAL ARTISTS shall be allowed an uninterrupted rest period <strong>of</strong> notless than ten (10) minutes for every ninety (90) minutes <strong>of</strong> staging or music rehearsal. Restperiods need not be at the same time for all soloists.ARTICLE XXVIII - EXTRA PERFORMANCES AND SERVICESA. If ARTIST shall be required to take part in a greater number <strong>of</strong> performances inany one week than is provided for herein, or if a Leading or Featured ARTIST is required to takepart in two (2) performances in any one (1) day, such ARTIST shall be paid additionalcompensation based upon a pro rata <strong>of</strong> his/her contractual compensation (exclusive <strong>of</strong> per diem)for each such additional performance.B. Any ARTIST who performs the services <strong>of</strong> Performing PRINCIPAL ARTIST andSTAGE DIRECTOR in the same opera production shall be paid two (2) distinct fees for suchengagement.C. Any DANCER who performs the services <strong>of</strong> a CHOREOGRAPHER in additionto that <strong>of</strong> a SOLO DANCER, shall be paid both fees, either at weekly rate or the singleperformance rate, as the case may be.ARTICLE XXIX - STAGE DIRECTORS, STAGE MANAGERS, CHOREOGRAPHERS,AND THEIR ASSISTANTSA.
