3. In the event a PRINCIPAL ARTIST is hired as a Rehearsal Cover, he/shemust be placed on a weekly contract with a two-week minimum.4. In the event <strong>of</strong> an unforeseen and unexpected absence <strong>of</strong> a Principal Artist duringrehearsals, a current Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist who is on contract, and who is familiar with the role,may step in as a Temporary Rehearsal Cover. Said Temporary Rehearsal Cover shall be compensated at adaily rate equivalent to one-fifth <strong>of</strong> the rehearsal weekly rates, up to a maximum <strong>of</strong> four days. By the fifthday, the Artist will be rolled into a two week rehearsal cover contract. The already rehearsed and paiddays will be absorbed into said two week contract.5. All other terms and conditions <strong>of</strong> this Agreement shall apply to COVERSD. PER DIEM1. Per Diem payments for all ARTISTS noted above shall be made whenARTIST is working for MANAGEMENT beyond a fifty-five (55) mile radius <strong>of</strong> ARTIST’sdomicile.PER DIEMAs <strong>of</strong>7/l/10As <strong>of</strong>7/l/11As <strong>of</strong>7/l/12Up to 4 wks 123.50 126.00 128.504 or more wks 103.65 105.70 107.802. When MANAGEMENT provides (or is prepared to provide) suitablelodging, MANAGEMENT may satisfy the Per Diem requirement herein by the payment <strong>of</strong> anamount equal to the daily meal allowance provided for in Article XIX.A. here<strong>of</strong>.3. This Per Diem or meal allowance is in addition to any rehearsalcompensation to which ARTIST is entitled.E. REHEARSAL PROVISIONS1. Rehearsals during Performance Weeks for Performing PRINCIPALARTISTS engaged on a Weekly BasisMANAGEMENT shall be entitled to not more than four (4) hours <strong>of</strong> uncompensatedrehearsal during any performance week. All hours <strong>of</strong> rehearsal scheduled in excess <strong>of</strong> the four (4)hours permitted above shall be paid at the overtime rate indicated in Article XXVI.F.5. below.2.
