ARTICLE XVIII - TRANSPORTATIONA. It is MANAGEMENT’s responsibility to provide transportation on behalf <strong>of</strong>ARTISTS to and from MANAGEMENT’s city <strong>of</strong> origination and ARTIST’s domicile.B. BY PLANE1. ARTIST agrees to travel by regularly scheduled airline; however, ARTIST andMANAGEMENT may agree to alternate means <strong>of</strong> transportation by mutual consent <strong>of</strong> theparties, to be indicated upon the Standard ARTIST’s <strong>Contract</strong>.2. In the event that ARTIST performs with other producing organizations,immediately prior to or immediately following an engagement, air travel expenses may beprorated with the other organizations involved.C. SICKNESS OF ARTIST1. In the event that ARTIST shall continue to be unable to perform services afterthe sick leave period referred to in Article XXXVII <strong>of</strong> this Agreement, MANAGEMENT shallreturn ARTIST to his or her resident city and shall provide ARTIST with return transportation bythe same means as provided for the ARTIST’s arrival, and no further claim for payment underARTIST’s contract shall be due after departure because <strong>of</strong> such illness.2. It shall be the obligation <strong>of</strong> MANAGEMENT to provide transportation to theplace <strong>of</strong> performance for ARTIST engaged to replace ARTIST forced to cancel his or hercontract, by the same means or better as provided ARTIST who has been forced to cancel his orher contract, and to provide return transportation to the city <strong>of</strong> origination at the end <strong>of</strong> theengagement period.3. MANAGEMENT may request a certificate <strong>of</strong> a doctor as to the illness <strong>of</strong>ARTIST and an examination by a doctor designated and paid for by MANAGEMENT as acondition precedent to fulfilling the above paragraph C. 1. <strong>of</strong> this Article XVIII.ARTICLE XIX - EXTRA TRAVEL COMPENSATION FOR“RUN-OUT ENGAGEMENTS”A. “Run-Out Engagements”: When ARTIST is required to perform thirty (30) milesbeyond the central point <strong>of</strong> departure, but is not required to stay overnight, MANAGEMENTshall compensate ARTIST with a partial daily meal allowance as follows:DEPARTURE PRIOR TORETURN AFTERAs <strong>of</strong>7/1/10As <strong>of</strong>7/1/11As <strong>of</strong>7/1/129:00 A.M. $13.70 $14.00 $14.301:00 P.M. $18.50 $18.90 $19.3010COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTJuly 1, <strong>2010</strong> through June 30, <strong>2013</strong>
