HUMAN RESOURCE MINIMUM OBLIGATORY INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS (<strong>HRMOIR</strong>)2012/13 Financial YearField 7.5 – FYTD Gross Penalty Payments and AllowancesDescription:Codes/Calculation:Total gross penalty payments and allowances, other than overtime, commuted allowanceand commuted overtime, and higher duties allowance, that are over and above theemployee's base wage or salary paid to the employee in the current financial year.Include:• Penalty payments shift and other remunerative allowances.• Payments made under incentive, piecework or profit sharing schemes.• Payments made for time on standby or reporting time.• Payments made in lieu of annual or long service leave, including payments due toretirement, resignation, termination of fixed term contract or redundancy.• Payments made due to severance and additional severance in lieu of notice.• Allowances prescribed in the award/agreement (e.g. site, height, district, etc.)over award and over agreement pay.• Regular penalty payments negotiated for employees on workers’ compensation(only if applicable).• Advance and retrospective payments.• Casual loading.Exclude:• Higher duties allowance.• Overtime pay.• Workers’ compensation payments NOT paid through the payroll.7. FYTD SalaryInformationRemarks/Validation:The value calculated must be rounded to the nearest dollar. Do not use decimal places.<strong>Data</strong> will not be accepted by WACA if:• The field is left blank.• An employee’s FYTD penalty payments and allowances are less than $0.Field size: Up to 7 numeric characters may be used<strong>Data</strong> format: IntegerPeriod: FYTD: from the day after the last pay day prior to June 30to the last fortnightly pay period in the current census quarter* Please note that the <strong>HRMOIR</strong> financial year commences after the last pay day in June.
