DemographicInformationCodes/Calculation:Employee’s country of birth.Refer to the list of codes in Appendix 1. Classification is according to the AustralianBureau of Statistics (ABS) publication 1269.0 Standard Australian Classification ofCountries (SACC) Second Edition to the 4‐digit level.Some entities survey staff to collect this data:• Use SSSS if a survey was returned and the employee did not provide thisinformation.• Use OOOO if a survey was sent and the employee did not return the surveyform.• Use XXXX if a survey was not sent to the employee.To obtain information about diversity planning or the Diversity SurveyQuestionnaire, please contact the State Administrator.Remarks/Validation:A valid code must be used. Data will not be accepted by WACA if:• Any code other than a valid 4‐digit country code as shown in Appendix 1 isused.• The field is left blank.Field size:Data format:Period:Must use 4 charactersCharacterSnapshot of the last fortnight pay period in the census quarter28
