The <strong>Contract</strong>or shall provide conductor supports as required by the code andrecommended by the cable manufacturer. Where required, provide cable supports invertical conduits, and provide the lower end of the conduit with ventilators.3.03 COLOR CODING:A. Color code power wiring conductors by marking each end with a three inch band ofcolored, pressure-sensitive, plastic tape or with brilliant, waterproof lacquer appliedaccording to the Manufacturer's instructions. Colors for each phase and the neutral shallbe consistent throughout the system. On new conductors, colored vinyl marking tapeshall be allowable only for conductors greater than #8 AWG. For smaller conductorsprovide colored insulation.B. In addition to color coding, all line, phase, and neutral conductors shall be identified byplastic-coated, self sticking printed markers, permanently attached stamped metal foilmarkers, or equivalent means as approved by the COR. Panel and circuit markers shallbe identified. Conductor identification shall be provided at all terminations, and in alljunction boxes through which these conductors pass. In addition to color coding, controlcircuit conductor identification shall be made by plastic-coated self-sticking printedmarkers, permanently attached stamped metal foil markers, or equivalent means asapproved by the <strong>Contract</strong>ing officers representative. Conductor identification shall beprovided within each enclosure where a tap, splice, or termination is made. Controlcircuit terminals of equipment shall be properly identified. Terminal and conductoridentification shall match that shown on approved shop drawings. Hand lettering ormarking is not acceptable.C.
