16westwood plateaugolf & country clubBanquet Terms & Conditions1. A deposit of $ 1,500.00 is required to secure the date and room(s) for the Host.2. Our cancellation policy requires your written notice a minimum of 180 days prior to the event. If the room is rebooked withan equivalent banquet, Westwood Plateau Entertainment will refund the full deposit. If you cancel 180 days or less from the dateof the event, Westwood Plateau Entertainment will retain the deposit plus charge 25% of the estimated invoice. If you cancel 30days or less from the date of the event, Westwood Plateau Entertainment will retain the deposit plus charge 50% of the estimatedinvoice or $1500.00, which ever is higher.3. Functions held on Saturday evenings from May1 to December 31 require the following minimums:Room Adult Guests Menu Price Room Rental Food & Beverage(pre-tax, pre-service charge)Panorama 180 $45.00 per person $1,500.00 $13,000.00Gallery 80 $43.00 per person $750.00 $5,000.00* Events on Saturday evenings during the above time frame, which are confirmed more than 15 months in advance of the event date, are subjectto a food and beverage minimum of $15,000.00 in the Panorama Room and $6000.00 in the Gallery Room, pre-tax, pre-service charge.4. Room rental fees are as follows for functions held January to April or Sunday to Friday from May 1 to December 31:Room Adult Guests Room Rental Long-Weekend SundaysPanorama 120 min. $750.00 $900.00Gallery 50 min. $500.00 $600.00Studio 30 min. $500.00 $500.005. A minimum menu price of $25.00 pre-tax and pre-service charge applies to all events.6. Ceremony on site with Reception $750.00 (Ceremony times are allotted based on the reception room booked and availability)Ceremony Only $1200.00 (Based on availability)Photographs Only $300.007. Specialty cakes are the only food permitted to be brought in by the client. Specialty cakes brought in by the client are the onlyfood allowed to be taken off Westwood Plateau premises. Westwood Plateau staff do not handle cakes – it is the responsibilityof the host to have it set up and moved if necessary.8. All alcoholic beverages are to supplied by Westwood Plateau Entertainment. Corkage events are respectfully declined.9. Westwood Plateau Entertainment will ask for two pieces of government issued photo identification from all guests orderingalcoholic beverages who look under the age of 25.10. Westwood Plateau Entertainment will add a 16% service charge to all food and beverages served at the event. HST is leviedon all applicable charges including the 16% service charge.11. If the host chooses the optional service of WPE staff to cut and plate the specialty cake, a service charge of $1.50 per guestwill apply. A service charge of $1.00 per chair will be charged for any decorative chair covers (supplied by the client) that WPEstaff may have to remove once the event is over. There is a rental fee of $2.50 per chair, plus a $50.00 delivery fee for foldingchairs rented for any outdoor garden ceremony. All Westwood Plateau candles used for an event will be charged to the client at$1.50 per floating candle. Clients may supply their own candles with no charge.12. If the host or cash bar revenue is less than $250.00, a bartending charge of $20.00 per hour will be charged for a minimumof four (4) hours. This charge applies to each bar in operation at the event.13. For functions with less than 20 people, a Labour Fee of $15.00 per hour for a minimum of four (4) hours will apply.A Labour Fee of $4.00 per guest will apply for events held on statutory holidays.Thank you for your interest in our services and facilities.
