<strong>ARM</strong> <strong>DS</strong>-5 tutorials3.8 Connecting to the Gnometris application that is already running on a <strong>ARM</strong> LinuxtargetTo connect the debugger to the Gnometris application that is already running on an <strong>ARM</strong> Linuxtarget:1. Select Debug Configurations... from the Run menu.2. Select <strong>DS</strong>-5 Debugger from the configuration tree and then click on New to create a newconfiguration. Alternatively you can select an existing <strong>DS</strong>-5 Debugger configuration andthen click on Duplicate from the toolbar.3. In the Name field, enter a suitable name for the new configuration.4. Click on the Connection tab to see the target and connection options.5. In the Select target panel:a. Select the required platform, for example, beagleboard.org - OMAP_3530.b. Select Connect to already running gdbserver for the debug operation.6. In the Connections panel, for the connection between gdbserver and the application:a. Enter the IP address of the target.b. Enter the port number.7.
