MODEL OPTION SWITCHES FOR CALMET AND <strong>CALPUFF</strong><br />

A full description of key model variables <strong>for</strong> both CALMET <strong>and</strong> <strong>CALPUFF</strong> are detailed in<br />

Tables A-2 <strong>and</strong> A-5. Table A-1 lists in detail <strong>the</strong> 7 Critical User-Defined Parameters that are<br />

required when running CALMET with observational data <strong>and</strong> Table A-3 includes <strong>the</strong><br />

recommended model settings <strong>for</strong> overwater fluxes.<br />

Although <strong>the</strong> tables below are intended to be as specific as possible, it is impossible to specify<br />

any single set of options/user-defined factors <strong>for</strong> every circumstance as some factors depend<br />

entirely on <strong>the</strong> meteorological <strong>and</strong> geophysical characteristics of <strong>the</strong> model domain.<br />
