Since I am in i‘tikāf, I am writing with a pencil,please forgive me.wa al-Salām‘Azīz al-Ĥasan ‘ufia ‘anhuThe letter is not postdated but I did finally learn of Ĥađrat’sdevotions after some research [which will come under its ownsection].Devotions of ĤaĎrat Shaikh Khalīl AĥmadSahāranpūrīWhen I published the questionnaire, some friends wished and Imyself thought it would be excellent to use the questionnaire as amethod of discussing Ĥađrat Sahāranpūrī’s devotions, though it hasbeen previously narrated briefly in Tadhkirat al-Khalīl and Fađā’ile-Ramađān.I wish to use the question-answer format to highlighthis devotions for the Ramadan of 1328 to 1345/ September, 1910 toMarch 1927 [Ĥađrat Shaikh accompanied his Shaikh throughoutthese Ramadan] except for the Ramadan of 1334 Hijri/1916 whenhe was in Makka and I in Sahāranpūr.1. Ĥađrat always wore a watch and though someone waspermanently assigned to keep it synchronized throughout theyear, he was especially meticulous about keeping his watch insync with the post office and telephone time 50 during the monthof Ramadan.2.
