3Rs (RESPITE, RECREATION & REVITALISATION)Operates from the <strong>Burnside</strong> Community Centre for people in theEastern Region who are over 65, frail aged or have memory loss,younger people with a disability and their carers. The program providesrecreational and educational activities <strong>to</strong> support participants <strong>to</strong> meetnew people, reconnect <strong>to</strong> the community, remain independent andactive, maintain skills and learn new ones and provide carers with abreak. Groups meet weekly which includes a monthly outing. Cost perweek varies between $7 and $10 and includes lunch and morning tea.For more information about the 3Rs please contact 8366 4107 or8366 4144.EASTERN REGION MEN’S SHEDThe Eastern Region Men’s Shed provides a friendly and safe meetingplace for retired socially isolated older men and retired older men withmemory loss living in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs. Men can undertakeactivities <strong>of</strong> interest, be involved in community projects, make or repairitems for themselves or others, and socialise with other men. Variousgroups meet for 3 <strong>to</strong> 4 hours each week.
