<strong>SU</strong> London Housing Liaison Job DescriptionOverview:The Pre-Arranged Housing Liaison serves as an important link in the communicationnetwork between fellow residents of Pre-Arranged Housing, Anglo Educational Services(AES); the <strong>housing</strong> provider and the <strong>SU</strong> London Program staff. This is an idealopportunity for students with leadership experience or potential. Liaisons help to buildcommunity within Pre-Arranged Housing, plan social networking opportunities as well asassist students who need to report problems or concerns to the <strong>SU</strong> London Program staff.Responsibilities:Housing Liaisons are expected to:• Build a rapport with <strong>SU</strong> London students in their assigned flats to help facilitateopen lines of communication for questions, problems and concerns• Build community within Pre-Arranged Housing by planning social networkingopportunities• Consistently update/change designated Bulletin Board space to publicize <strong>SU</strong>London events and post notices to students in Pre-Arranged Housing• Attend fortnightly (once every two weeks) meetings with <strong>SU</strong> London and AES(maintenance) staff• Report any student-specific concerns to <strong>SU</strong> London staff• Report any maintenance problems to AESQualifications:Qualities of a Housing Liaison include, but are not limited to, the following:• A positive, pro-active attitude• Maturity and responsibility• The ability to communicate effectively• Trustworthiness• Experience in a campus leadership position is a plus, though not required
