Charlotte<br />
Charlotte returns to Berlin after having lived in New<br />
York City. Alone in the big city, she looks for a<br />
connection to the comfortable life with the people<br />
she once knew. Along the way, armed only with an<br />
evening dress and five Euros, she tries to find the life<br />
that she once had. Eventually, Charlotte has to learn<br />
that she can neither escape her past nor determine<br />

Ulrike von Ribbeck was born in 1975. She studied Visual<br />
Communication at the Hamburg Academy of Arts and worked<br />
as an assistant director for several film productions. She has<br />
been a student at the German Film & Television Academy<br />
Berlin (dffb) since 1999. Her <strong>films</strong> include: the shorts<br />
Laurentia (1999), Kleine Traeume (2000), Little<br />
Star (2001), Am See (2002), and Charlotte (2004).<br />
