This regulation applies to theActive Army, the Army National Guard, andthe U.S. Army Reserve. It applies to all proponentagencies responsible for military occu p a t i o n a l s t r u c t u r e a n d c l a s s i f i c a t i o n .D u r i n g m o b i l i z a t i o n , c h a p t e r s a n d p o l i c i e scontained in this regulation may be modifiedby the proponent.P r o p o n e n t a n d e x c e p t i o n a u t h o r i t y .The proponent of this regulation is the DeputyChief of Staff for Personnel. The proponenthas the authority to approve exceptionsto this regulation that are consistent with controllinglaw and regulation. The Deputy Chiefof Staff for Personnel may delegate this appr o v a l a u t h o r i t y , i n w r i t i n g , t o a d i v i s i o nc h i e f w i t h i n t h e p r o p o n e n t a g e n c y i n t h egrade of colonel or the civilian equivalent.A r m y m a n a g e m e n t c o n t r o l p r o c e s s .This regulation is not subject to the requirementsof AR 11-2.
