The study area is 269km 2 and contains majorwaterways such as Watts River, Grace Burn and Coranderrk Creek (Figure 17).Major points include the following:• Watts River originates in the Maroondah Reservoir protected forestarea, flowing into Maroondah Reservoir upstream of Healesville. It thencontinues through Healesville to the Yarra River.• The headwaters of Grace Burn and Coranderrk Creek are also in theforested water supply catchment.• New Chum Creek, Myers Creek and Donnelly Creek flow into WattsRivers just upstream of Healesville.• Council and Melbourne Water drainage systems are located withinHealesville and Badger Creek.30 Melbourne Water Shire of Yarra Ranges Flood Management Plan
