The study area is 269km 2 and contains majorwaterways such as Watts River, Grace Burn and Coranderrk Creek (Figure 17).Major points include the following:• Watts River originates in the Maroondah Reservoir protected forestarea, flowing into Maroondah Reservoir upstream <strong>of</strong> Healesville. It thencontinues through Healesville to the <strong>Yarra</strong> River.• The headwaters <strong>of</strong> Grace Burn and Coranderrk Creek are also in theforested water supply catchment.• New Chum Creek, Myers Creek and Donnelly Creek flow into WattsRivers just upstream <strong>of</strong> Healesville.• Council and Melbourne Water drainage systems are located withinHealesville and Badger Creek.30 Melbourne Water <strong>Shire</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Yarra</strong> <strong>Ranges</strong> <strong>Flood</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>
