The study area is 195km 2 and contains major creekssuch as Olinda Creek, Stringybark Creek and Brushy Creek (Figure 15). Majorpoints include the following:• Olinda Creek originates in the Dandenong <strong>Ranges</strong> and flows north tothe <strong>Yarra</strong> River. Lilydale Lake is located on Olinda Creek also.• Brushy Creek starts in urban Mooroolbark and heads north through amostly urban catchment.• Silvan Reservoir is located within the south-eastern corner <strong>of</strong> theStudy Area.• Significant drainage infrastructure, both Council and Melbourne Waterassets, are located with the urban areas <strong>of</strong> Mooroolbark and Croydon.28 Melbourne Water <strong>Shire</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Yarra</strong> <strong>Ranges</strong> <strong>Flood</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>
