C O R E VA L U E S A N D S TA N D A R D SAs Cognizant Associates, we are also expected to cooperate fully with any inquiry or investigation by the Companyregarding an alleged violation <strong>of</strong> these St<strong>and</strong>ards. Failure to cooperate with any such inquiry or investigation mayresult in disciplinary action, up to <strong>and</strong> including termination (subject to applicable laws <strong>and</strong> regulations).Managers have an additional responsibility to help Associates resolve ethical issues, <strong>and</strong> to create an environmentwhere Associates feel comfortable coming to them to discuss possible violations <strong>of</strong> the St<strong>and</strong>ards. Any Cognizantmanager who receives a report <strong>of</strong> a violation <strong>of</strong> these St<strong>and</strong>ards is also responsible for immediately informing theCompany’s Director – Compliance.Questions about these St<strong>and</strong>ardsAs an organization, Cognizant welcomes comments, questions <strong>and</strong> discussions on our <strong>Core</strong> <strong>Values</strong> <strong>and</strong> St<strong>and</strong>ards <strong>of</strong><strong>Business</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> <strong>and</strong> any ethical issues relating to the Company. Any questions regarding these St<strong>and</strong>ards or theirapplication in any situation can be directed to a manager, talent manager or the Director – Compliance.We recognize that these St<strong>and</strong>ards can only provide a basic underst<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>of</strong> the rules that apply to how weconduct our business. That is why we have other policies, including those in our HR H<strong>and</strong>books, that provide moredetailed information regarding our St<strong>and</strong>ards. As Cognizant Associates, we are responsible for knowing the policiesthat apply to us. Relevant policies are referenced within this document.Not Sure what a Particular Word or Phrase Means?Throughout this document, we have italicized terms that may not be familiar to you <strong>and</strong> have provided definitions inthe “Defined Terms” section.Getting Help or Reporting a Possible Violation <strong>of</strong> these St<strong>and</strong>ardsTo report a suspected violation <strong>of</strong> these St<strong>and</strong>ards, Associates should contact their manager, talent manager or theDirector – Compliance. It is recommended that Associates identify themselves when reporting possible violations sothat additional information can be obtained if necessary.
