POLICE TRAINING FUNDREVENUE BUDGET SUMMARYThe Police Training Fund accounts for allocationsreceived from the State of Michigan pursuant to Act 302of the Public Act 1982. These monies are disbursedtwice a year based on the number of sworn policeofficers. These funds can only be expended for directcosts of criminal justice training of Police Officers. Themajor revenue source for this fund is state grants.Funding is received on a reimbursement basis.The 2012/2013 approved revenues for Police TrainingFund will be $22,500. EXPENDITURE BUDGET SUMMARYThe total Police Training Fund expenditures will be$22,500, for FY 2013. No Personnel Services havebeen allocated to this fund. Operating Expenses will be$22,500, for the upcoming year. This is the sameamount budgeted in FY 2012. The city will continue tospend these grant dollars on additional law enforcementtraining.
