This can <strong>in</strong>crease the customer’s capacity for wireless voice anddata communications.In addition, by utilis<strong>in</strong>g TDMA technology, the MOTOTRBO platform lets a s<strong>in</strong>gle repeater deliver thebenefits of two analogue repeaters, allow<strong>in</strong>g bus<strong>in</strong>esses to realise up to a 50 per cent reduction <strong>in</strong> repeatercosts when compared with equivalent analogue <strong>system</strong>s.One of the biggest challenges with mobile devices has been battery life. By cutt<strong>in</strong>g the call transmit time <strong>in</strong>half, us<strong>in</strong>g two-slot TDMA, MOTOTRBO provides a longer talk time with up to 40 per cent longer battery lifethan comparable analogue radios.
