385311487. In addition to the above evidence, the Trial Chamber has considered the evidenceof Davorin Pavlović, Ivan Herman, Dražen Vitez, Zoran Cvrk, Željko Sačić, Witness82, and the Markač interviews, all reviewed in chapter 4.2.4 (Donji Lapac). It has alsoconsidered the evidence of Milan Ilić reviewed in chapter 4.1.4 (Marko Ilić and others -Schedule no. 10) and Witness MM-25 reviewed in chapter 4.5.3 (Donji Lapac).1488. The Trial Chamber has considered the evidence of a number of witnesses inrelation to artillery projectiles impacting in Donji Lapac on 7 August 1995. The TrialChamber will first address the evidence in relation to the police station and a transporttruck. According to Ilić, around 9 or 10 a.m. on 7 August 1995, sporadic shelling hitDonji Lapac and shells fell near a police station, a municipal building, and a“committee” building in the centre of town. Janić observed that the police station wason fire when he entered town around noon, as did Sačić. Pavlović and Cvrk observedthat the police station had been hit by one or more artillery shells. Based on theaforementioned evidence, the Trial Chamber finds that on 7 August 1995, before Janić’sarrival around noon, artillery projectiles struck the police station in the centre of DonjiLapac. Further, based on the evidence of Turkalj, Pavlović, and Cvrk, the TrialChamber finds that on 7 August 1995, before Pavlović’s arrival around 3 or 3:30 p.m.,artillery projectiles struck a heavy-duty army transport truck at the entrance to DonjiLapac.1489. The Trial Chamber will now address the evidence in relation to a hotel or moteland a number of houses in Donji Lapac. Witness MM-25 testified that on the Sundayfollowing the start of Operation Storm, he observed a municipal building, a motel near apetrol station, and two or three houses on fire in Donji Lapac. Witness MM-25 did notfurther specify the location of these buildings. According to the 1995 calendar, thisSunday fell on 6 August in 1995, which date is further supported by Witness MM-25’stestimony that he did not see any Croatian troops and that Witness MM-25 did notmention seeing or hearing any shelling in Donji Lapac on that day. With regard to thehotel or motel, Pavlović testified that a hotel was on fire when he entered Donji Lapacaround 3 – 3:30 p.m. on 7 August 1995. Turkalj and Cvrk also observed a hotel or motelon fire in Donji Lapac later that day. Neither Pavlović, Turkalj, nor Cvrk testified aboutwhat caused this fire. The evidence does not clearly establish the location of the hotel ormotel observed by these witnesses, nor whether it is the same building as the motel5701 P111 (UNMO Sector South daily situation report, 8 p.m., 7 August 1995), pp. 1, 4.784Case No.: IT-06-90-T 15 April 2011 `
