This evidence indicates that the HV deliberately fired shells targ<strong>et</strong>ing thecross-roads on that day. Artillery impacts and/or damage to buildings near (roughlywithin a 200-m<strong>et</strong>re radius of) the cross-roads were further observed by witnessesincluding Dreyer (see P78), Dawes (H on P984), Mira Grubor (marking 6 on P58),Witness 6 (marking A on P17), and Roberts (markings B, D, and E on P682) on 4August 1995. Further, based on the evidence of Roberts and Bellerose, the Tri<strong>al</strong>Chamber finds that there were a number of dead bodies, some in civilian clothes, somein parti<strong>al</strong> military uniform, in an area (marked B1, F, and G on P682 and marked A onP547) within approximately 200 m<strong>et</strong>res of the intersection. On 5 August 1995, the TS-4reported firing at this intersection. Artillery impacts and/or damage near (roughly withina 200-m<strong>et</strong>re radius of) the intersection E-15 on D131 were observed after 5 August1995 by Roberts (O on P681), Widén (J on P722, p. 10), and Berikoff (N on P746).Based on the aforementioned evidence, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber finds that the HV fired theartillery projectiles which impacted in this area.1378. Based on the evidence of Dreyer and Al-Alfi, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber finds that on 5August 1995 the HV fired artillery projectiles which impacted in the downtown area ofKnin, including on or in the immediate vicinity of the Radio TV Knin building. On 5August 1995, the TS-3 reported firing at the SVK headquarters and the post office.Artillery impacts and/or damage near (roughly within a 200-m<strong>et</strong>re radius of) the SVKheadquarters or the railway station were observed after 5 August 1995 by otherwitnesses, including Luković, Teskeredžić, Widén (C and D on P722, p. 10), Roberts (I,M, N, K on P681), and Berikoff (F, M, and L on P746), as well as reported inUNCIVPOL report P228.1379. The Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber will now address the evidence of shells impacting in thecentre of town, north of the railway tracks. Based on the testimony of Witness 56 andWitness 6, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber finds that on 4 August 1995, the HV fired artilleryprojectiles which impacted on the police station and houses within 20 m<strong>et</strong>res from thepolice station (markings K and F on P289, p. 10, sever<strong>al</strong> markings in blue on p. 11).Based on the media interview of Martić D1449 and the observations of impacts byWidén (F on P722, p. 10) and Stig Marker Hansen (one of four areas marked III onP1293) on 6 and 7 August 1995, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber finds that artillery projectilesimpacted in the immediate vicinity of Martić’s residence on 4 August 1995.725Case No.: IT-06-90-T 15 April 2011 `
