38599Anttila testified that he initi<strong>al</strong>ly agreed with the provision<strong>al</strong> assessment, but that basedon observations he made in Knin during patrols in the period of 18 August 1995onwards, it became obvious to him that the shelling was more widespread than theearlier assessment had indicated, and that it was not concentrated only against militaryobjectives. 5335 Anttila estimated that out of a tot<strong>al</strong> of 660 houses in Knin reported byUNMO as tot<strong>al</strong>ly (69 houses) or parti<strong>al</strong>ly (591 houses) damaged in the list of damagedand destroyed houses compiled by the witness on 13 September 1995, around 40 percent were damaged as a result of shelling. 53361356.
