38925Protection Gračac reported to the Zadar-Knin Police Administration that they hadcollected and disposed cattle, emptied and cleaned deep freezer cabin<strong>et</strong>s in houses,disposed meat and rotten food, and burned and buried carcasses, but Steenbergentestified that, during his time in Gračac, he observed on the road other things than justdeep freezers and their contents. 2951 At 7 p.m. on 29 August 1995, in Štikada TeamGračac found a burning house with ammunition exploding inside it. 2952 At 7 p.m. on 29August 1995, UNMO heard an explosion in Gračac and found that a house, situatedapproximately 200 m<strong>et</strong>res from UNMO’s accommodation in JORBAT 3 location, wason fire and that ammunition was exploding inside it. 2953 HRAT reported that on 30August 1995 HRAT saw one burning and one burned house, as well as five buses full ofCroatian soldiers, in Gračac. 2954 Zdravko Židovec, the Assistant Minister forInformation, An<strong>al</strong>ysis and Fire and Civilian Protection throughout 1995 and a memberof the Command Staff of Operation R<strong>et</strong>urn, 2955 testified that the part of Gračac hevisited in late August/early September 1995 was practic<strong>al</strong>ly intact, with the policestation showing no signs of damage. 2956688. Joško Morić testified that the uniform of the regular police, in the selection ofwhich he had participated, was dark-blue over a grey shirt, with police insignia on thesleeves, and a police badge in front. 2957 In atypic<strong>al</strong> situations, regular police could <strong>al</strong>sowear grey, but the insignia remained blue. 2958689. In addition to the above evidence, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber has <strong>al</strong>so consideredevidence of Witness 82 reviewed in chapter 4.2.4 (Donji Lapac town). The Tri<strong>al</strong>Chamber has further considered exhibits P2383-P2385.690. Based on UNMO report P109 and evidence from Herman Steenbergen, the Tri<strong>al</strong>Chamber finds that on 6 August 1995, persons referred to as HV troops were removingproperty from houses in Gračac. Based on the description of these persons as HVtroops, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber finds that they wore military-type uniforms.
