38935and on 5 August 1995 continued towards Gračac until around noon, when they reachedthe area of Štikada, Gračac municip<strong>al</strong>ity, by Lake Jezero where they remained on standbyin Loncari haml<strong>et</strong> during the rest of the day and the next day. 2849 The witnesstestified that his unit did not enter Gračac, but <strong>al</strong>so stated that he did. 2850 On 7 August1995, the witness’s and other Speci<strong>al</strong> Police units were ordered by the Speci<strong>al</strong> PoliceMain Staff to go to and deploy in Bruvno, Gračac municip<strong>al</strong>ity, in order to prevent apossible counter-attack by the SVK. 2851 The witness and his unit left in the morninghours, and going from the Štikada area, passing south of Gračac, up to Bruvno, thewitness noticed, in Gračac, sever<strong>al</strong> destroyed buildings that had veg<strong>et</strong>ation growing outof the ruins. 2852 During his stay outside of Gračac he did not witness any artillery attackor smoking or burning houses. 2853 The witness <strong>al</strong>so testified that he saw only Speci<strong>al</strong>Police around Gračac. 2854 Arriving in Bruvno, they found it empty of SVK, and thewitness’s unit was tasked to attack Donji Lapac tog<strong>et</strong>her with units of PrimorskoGorinska, the Lučko Anti-Terrorist Unit and the Gospić unit. 2855675.
