39007because of the heat emanating from the numerous burning buildings. 2321 Berikoff sawapproximately 25-30 HV soldiers wearing camouflage moving from house to house ordirecting traffic around the parked vehicles, each house going up in flames a fewminutes after they left it. 2322 There were no civilians. 2323 Berikoff testified that he hadseen “war lord” type soldiers around the Macure area. 2324 Berikoff stated that on theroad between Kistanje and Macure, most houses were looted and destroyed. 2325536.
