39101was to search an area containing a large number of civilians and that he receivedspecific orders about being mindful of the remaining civilians in the Plavno V<strong>al</strong>ley. 1578The witness believed that he <strong>al</strong>so passed on the list of civilians that he had receivedfrom Intern<strong>al</strong> Control to the unit commanders. 1579 The witness added that he warnedthose taking part in the operation that there were civilians in the area who were beingvisited every day by the UN, and that speci<strong>al</strong> care should be taken not to harmcivilians. 1580 The witness testified that he had information that there were combatactivities ongoing in the Strmica area b<strong>et</strong>ween enemy forces and the 4th and 7th HVBrigades and that groups of enemy soldiers had been spotted in the area. 1581369.
