39118above, the Tri<strong>al</strong> Chamber has considered evidence of Witness 69 reviewed in chapter4.2.9.344. ðuja Nonković from Žagrović told the Croatian police on 23 December 2004that on about 13 August 1995, she had accompanied members of UNPROFOR who hadcome to Žagrović and she had identified the body of ðuro Rašuo at the doorstep ofðorñe Rašuo’s house, two m<strong>et</strong>res from the body of Dmitar Rašuo in the front yard, thebody of Ilija P<strong>et</strong>ko at the doorstep of another house, and the body of Milica P<strong>et</strong>ko infront of Lako Rašuo’s garage. 1430 When seeking refuge at the UN compound in Kninsom<strong>et</strong>ime at the end of August or beginning of September 1995, Witness 69 t<strong>al</strong>ked toSaša Milošević of the Human Rights Centre in Zagreb about dead bodies in Žagrović,and Saša Milošević, after visiting the sites, confirmed that he had seen three corpses stilllying there. 1431 In the UN compound, Witness 69 <strong>al</strong>so told members of UNCIVPOLabout the bodies. 1432 In October 2004, exhumations, subsequent identifications, andforensic examinations reve<strong>al</strong>ed that some of the bodies that had been collected in theaftermath of Operation Storm in the course of the human sanitation were those of MilicaP<strong>et</strong>ko, Ilija P<strong>et</strong>ko, and Dmitar Rašuo, <strong>al</strong>l civilians, who had died in Žagrović on 5August 1995. 1433 According to the Šibenik-Knin Crime Investigation PoliceDepartment, the 3rd Infantry Batt<strong>al</strong>ion of the HV 4th Guards Brigade operated on 5August 1995 in the area of Žagrović, and military presence in that area was <strong>al</strong>soconfirmed by a number of villagers. 1434345.
