39166the possible suspect Nedeljko Mijić, to see if they could recognize him, which theycould not. 1040 The offici<strong>al</strong> notes of the interviews with Mirko Ognjenović, RadoslavOgnjenović, and Rajko Gajica and the photo-confrontation were sent by the Chief of theŠibenik-Knin Crime Police Department Sedlar to the county public prosecutor ofŠibenik, on 17 May and 24 July 2000 respectively. 1041 The measures taken, factsestablished and future steps of the investigation were reported by this crime policedepartment to its chief on 22 August 2000. 1042275. The evidence indicates that on the evening of 18 August 1995, in Kakanj, afterMirko Ognjenović heard someone shout “Where are the nine people? Come out so I cankill you <strong>al</strong>l”, Uroš Ognjenović and two men, at least one of whom had an automaticrifle, entered Mirko Ognjenović’s yard, where Mirko and Radoslav Ognjenović werepresent. The evidence further indicates that one of the two men c<strong>al</strong>led Mirko, Radoslav,and Uroš Ognjenović “Ch<strong>et</strong>niks”, hit Radoslav Ognjenović in the side with his riflebutt, and then fired sever<strong>al</strong> shots, one of which hit Radoslav Ognjenović in the arm,exposing a bone in his arm. One of the men <strong>al</strong>so hit Mirko Ognjenović to the ground,whereafter Mirko Ognjenović lost consciousness. One of the men then took UrošOgnjenović away from the yard. When Mirko Ognjenović regained consciousness, hishead hurt and he had a cut on his head and a broken thumb. A couple of hours after th<strong>et</strong>wo men had entered Mirko Ognjenović’s yard, he found the bodies of Uroš Ognjenović(born 1926 or 1928) and Uroš Šarić (born 1919 or 1920) in Uroš Ognjenović’s yard,about 200-250 m<strong>et</strong>res away from his own yard. The bodies had bull<strong>et</strong> wounds whichwere found to be the cause of death.276. The evidence that Uroš Ognjenović and Uroš Šarić died of bull<strong>et</strong> woundsindicates that they were killed. Uroš Ognjenović was last seen in the custody of twomen, at least one of whom was armed with an automatic rifle, a couple of hours beforehis body was found. Combined with the statement Mirko Ognjenović had heard justbefore the two men entered his yard and the behaviour of the two men towardsRadoslav and Mirko Ognjenović earlier that evening, this evidence indicates that thes<strong>et</strong>wo men killed Uroš Ognjenović.
