TM 9-2815-226-34-1(3) Raise arbor press ram and slip ST-633 guide spacer over guide. Spacer establishes correct installedheight of guide.(4) Continue pressing guide into head until ram bottoms against top of spacer.(5) Remove spacer.NOTEA 0.030 in. (0.762 mm) oversize crosshead guide is available if guide is loose orbore is damaged.(6) Install oversize guide as follows:(a)(b)(c)(d)Measure depth of guide bore in head.Drill bore to depth determined in (a) above with 29/64 in. (11.51 mm) drill.Apply cutting oil and ream bore with 15/32 in. (11.91 mm) reamer.Install oversize guide as per steps (2) thru (4) above.3-186
