Overall, condomuse is low (12 percent among women and 19 percent among men); however, there is a wide gap betweencondom use with a spouse/cohabiting partner and with a non-cohabiting partner. Use of condoms with non-cohabiting partners increases sharply with increasing level ofeducation. Among men, use of condoms with non-cohabiting partners is the highest for those who aredivorced, separated, or widowed, men living in urban areas (52 percent), in Lusaka (56 percent), andthose with secondary or higher education (60 percent).
