Use of condoms with non-cohabiting partners increases sharply with increasing level ofeducation. Among men, use of condoms with non-cohabiting partners is the highest for those who aredivorced, separated, or widowed, men living in urban areas (52 percent), in Lusaka (56 percent), <strong>and</strong>those with secondary or higher education (60 percent). It is worth noting that the province with the highestreported rates of non-marital sex—Western province—has the lowest rates of condom use with suchpartners among women <strong>and</strong> second lowest rate among men.AIDS/HIV/STI-Related Knowledge <strong>and</strong> Behaviour | 223
