Table13.13 shows that women who are divorced/separated/widowed, those in urban areas, those in Copperbelt,Lusaka, <strong>and</strong> Northern provinces, <strong>and</strong> more educated women are more likely to report consumption ofalcohol than other women. Women in Eastern <strong>and</strong> North-Western provinces are the least likely to reportalcohol consumption or drunkenness in the last month. Also, women in some occupations (clerical, sales<strong>and</strong> service, domestic service) are slightly more likely to consume alcohol than women employed in otheroccupations.Table 13.13 shows that the alcohol consumption pattern in men is similar to that of women. Likewomen, men who are divorced/separated/widowed, those in urban areas <strong>and</strong> the more educated are morelikely to consume alcohol than others. As in the case of women, men in Lusaka, Copperbelt, <strong>and</strong> Northernprovinces are more likely to report alcohol use than respondents from other provinces.212 | AIDS/HIV/STI-Related Knowledge <strong>and</strong> Behaviour
