The proportion of health worker visits is higher in rural areas (11 percent) than in urban areas(7 percent). Among provinces, North-Western <strong>and</strong> Western have the higher proportions of womenreporting house visits by a community health worker (29 percent <strong>and</strong> 22 percent, respectively), whileCentral province has the lowest (5 percent).Information, education, counseling is the most common service provided to the householdmembers by the community health workers (45 percent), followed by immunisations (28 percent) <strong>and</strong>administering of vitamin A (14 percent).138 | Maternal <strong>and</strong> Child <strong>Health</strong>
