5.14 EXPOSURE TO FAMILY PLANNING MESSAGESRadio, television, and newspapers or magazines are potential media for disseminating familyplanning messages, although televisions still remain relatively rare, at least in rural Zambia. To assess theextent to which these media serve as sources of family planning messages, respondents were askedwhether they heard or saw a message about family planning on the radio, television, or in the newspaperin the past few months.
